Heyford Athletic FC

A Brief History

Heyford Athletic Football Club was formed in 1908 and for many years played their football in the centre of the village on the village green.

In 1989 the club moved to the newly built playing field and over the years since, have developed excellent facilities.

They run two senior sides on a Saturday and two on a Sunday and in 2003 formed a Junior Football section, which now consists of age groups U8, U9, U10, U12 and U14. It is hoped that with this introduction the club will have a long and successful future.
