Can you please let me know if your club is entering the Northants Youth Football League next season, by 28th June. I have a form to fill/send in, to Northamptonshire Football Association by the 1st July, to inform them of the clubs that will be playing in the league next season.
Also, there is some concern that there will not be enough teams in some of the age groups, especially in the U11 age group.
Please will you get back to me within the next two to three days.
If you have not received your application Form, let me know and I will forward you one.
Many thanks,
Yours,
Eileen
League Sponsorship:
We, the NYFL, are currently in a position where funds are running low. The Tournament medals have been purchased at a cost of £420, leaving the kitty in a ‘tin rattling’ state of £80 – meaning that there is a strong possibility that we will end the season in minus figures.
Therefore we are asking that if anyone knows of, or has contact details of someone (Company/Business, Associations or ‘other’) that would be willing to sponsor, or receive advertising via internet and matches in return for sponsorship of the NYFL please let a committee member know.
Sponsorship can be one off donations, and we will create a list of ‘NYFL Sponsors’ on this site and are happy to mention their business or association. We also welcome long term sponsorship of the league (Seasonally) in return for advertisement, the terms of which are negotiable at the time (website, signage at matches, team kit etc.).
As mentioned please pass any information to a member of the committee.

To all Club Secretaries and Managers/Trainers
I have spoken to Northampton FA regarding the end of season tournament for the league, we can run the age groups U9, U10 & U11 as above, but the U8 must be non-competitive, so we will have to give points on fair play for each of the U8 matches. Fair Play points are awarded for:
• Team Play
• Supporter participation
• NOT on how many goals a team scores
Also there has been some concern whether the club venues have enough parking and toilet facilities, if the clubs involved could get back to me about their facilities it would be appreciated.
Eileen
